Instagram and your business page
Last updated October 29, 2026
Businesses can create or fill their page on SplitClub by connecting their Instagram account. This page says exactly what that reads, how it's shown, and how to disconnect it or have it deleted.
1.What we read
When you connect a business's Instagram account to SplitClub, you sign in with Instagram or Facebook on Meta's own page and choose the account to share. We never see your password. SplitClub asks for read-only access (Meta's instagram_basic permission) and nothing else: we can't post, comment, send or read messages, or see insights.
With that access we read the account's profile (name, username, bio, profile photo, website, and its follower and post counts) and its recent posts, up to 30: photos, the cover image of each video, the photos in each carousel, captions, the date and the link to each post.
2.How we use it
Your business page. We fill the empty parts of your page on SplitClub from your profile (your bio as the description, your website, your Instagram handle and photo). We never overwrite what you have written yourself.
Your posts on your page. We copy the photos into SplitClub's storage so your page can show them, each linking back to the post on Instagram with your handle. Videos show their cover image and play on Instagram. You choose which posts show and which are highlighted, and can hide any of them at any time.
Suggested offerings. We send your captions to an AI service to suggest the services and prices they mention. These are drafts: nothing shows on your page until you confirm it.
The access Meta gives us is stored encrypted on our servers and is used only to read your profile and posts when you connect or tap Re-sync. We never share it, and it is never sent to your phone or browser.
3.Disconnecting
In the SplitClub app or the business console, open your page's Instagram settings and choose Disconnect. We delete the access Meta gave us and every post we copied, at once. What you already accepted onto your page (its description, website or photo) stays until you change it.
Re-syncing removes any post you deleted on Instagram from your page too.
4.Asking us to delete it
You can also remove SplitClub Pages from your Instagram or Facebook settings, under Apps and websites (or Business Integrations). Meta then tells us, and we delete the access, the copied posts and the copy of your profile we keep for the connection. Meta shows you a confirmation code; its status page is on splitclubapp.com.
Or email privacy@s7vc.com or business@splitclub.com from the email on your SplitClub account, and we'll delete it for you. Deleting your SplitClub account deletes all of it too. Our full Privacy Policy covers everything else.
