About TAO Downtown Restaurant
TAO's Asian bistro in Chelsea is a subterranean restaurant designed by Rockwell Group, the first TAO where guests descend into a multi-level space. A long corridor with a dragon-scale screen and Chinese calligraphy murals leads in. Wine Spectator has given it an Award of Excellence since 2024.
