About Smashed Studios
Smashed Studios is a pottery and clay workshop business in Houston, part of the Slow Made brand. It opened in May 2021 in a small warehouse in Cypress, Texas. The studio offers one-time, hands-on sessions rather than multi-week classes: BYOB handbuilding using a slam-wedging technique that blends colored clay into marbled pieces, and pottery-wheel try-it sessions. The studio designs its own rib tools, called Profile Tools, in Houston.
